The biggest play that I am looking to make today is on the Houston Rockets @ Chicago Bulls game with Chicago Bulls -5.5 @ -132. The actual line is -7 so I’m buying 1.5 points. The bulls are coming off a 4th quarter battle against the Lakers where DeMar DeRozan showcased his lethal midrange shooting ability scoring a career high 38 points. Houston is coming off a win against the Detroit Pistons where they displayed a stellar performance against the worst team in the NBA, take that however you want personally I think that was a give me. This could very well be an upset however, as the last time the Rockets faced off against the Bulls they came out victorious in a 118-113 win. Statistically both teams have similar FG % at 45% & 46%. The key for the bulls to cover the spread is going to come from effective 3 point shooting and perimeter defense. Vucevic also needs to crush the paint and show Christian Wood who his daddy is.
Second play that I’m looking to make today is going to be on the Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics game with Celtics – 3.5 @ -114. As of right now Joel Embid and Jayson Tatum are listed as questionable. This game is a tossup as Celtics are a hit or miss team, they can play exceptional basketball and distribute the ball but there seems to be a lid on the basket at times. If Jaylen Brown can get into a rhythm early then the Celtics can definitely pull off a win. Payton Prichard will also play a big factor in a Celtics win as he proved to be a clutch 3 point shooter against the Knicks.
Third Play Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies with Grizzlies -8.5. The last time they faced off the Grizzlies set a record for largest margin of victory ever recorded (73 points). That’s all i need to hammer this spread. I’m also a degenerate so take that with a grain of salt.
