3-1 Last night with Joel Embid over 27.5 points, LeBron James over 29.5 points, and Lakers -5.5 vs the Rockets. Our only losing pick was 76ers -5.5 vs Toronto which was just absolute pain. 76ers up by 12 with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter and Chris Boucher decides to pop off like he’s playing in the NBA Finals putting up eight of their next ten points. Gary Trent Jr. would then put the raptors ahead 107-106 with 1:14 remaining in the fourth quarter. This story ultimately ends with Tobias Harris going to the line to end the game at 114-109. Missing the spread by 1 point.

Recap of 76ers @ Raptors

I’m not thrilled about todays slate of games but I do like one game in particular, that’s why for todays #1 pick I chose to go with….

Charlotte Hornets @ Indiana Pacers with Hornets +138 Money-line. The absolute disrespect by bookmakers across the globe making the Hornets the underdog tonight. I might have a sour taste in my mouth from the Pacers blowout loss (96-125) against the Miami Heat but there is no chance that the pacers even have a remote hope of winning this game.

Through their last 5 games the pacers have shot 29% from beyond the arch which proves their current inability to use the perimeter effectively. Against the heat the Pacers avoided multiple catch and shoot threes, which caused them to clog the paint and give up turnovers. Shut down the paint and you can shut down the pacers.

Charlotte on the other hand is leading the NBA in 3P% with 38%. Through their last 5 games they are shooting 34% from the arch which will ultimately result in a slow and painful loss for the pacers. If shots fall early for Charlotte the pacers will be looking at the same result as they did against the heat.

My next pick is on the Atlanta hawks @ Chicago Bulls game not with a team bet but a player bet, and it’s Zach Lavine over 26.5 points. Zach Lavine is playing insane right now. He has scored over 30 points in four of his last five games and is taking the shots that he wants to take. He looks like he’s in rhythm and I can see him putting up at least 30 points tonight.

Final pick tonight will be on the Los Angeles Lakers @ Memphis Grizzlies with the Lakers +5.5. The Lakers just broke their five game losing streak, against the Houston Rockets last night. I don’t necessarily think that the Lakers have an opportunity to win this game outright which is why I have chosen to opt for the spread.

This will be a game to watch tonight, as usual LeBron is going to have to put the team on his back if the Lakers are going to have any chance of making this a competitive game.

Looking forward to the outcomes of these games, until tomorrow my fellow gamblers.
